Congratulations Graduates! Now Shoot for the Moon!

Congratulations Seniors!  Last week we celebrated with the graduates from the mentorSTEM program.  There was food, ice cream, and of course, lots of speeches.  Now we all know that your high school graduation is a significant milestone.  A time for reflection and celebration and an inspiration for the next phase of life.  But I wonder…

With all of the excitement of the prom and the commencement and the after-parties… do you really think the students listened to all of the great advice in all of those speeches we gave them last week?

Hmmmmm…I’m thinking probably not.

I figure it takes some downtime ( after the weekend?  after the summer?) for the full impact of graduation day to sink in. That’s when you start thinking.  That’s when you start planning.  And that’s when you start wondering…what about all of that important advice those boring talking heads were giving me, now that I’m focused and really listening?

Well never fear… along with some of the pictures of our graduation ice cream social at TransTech Academy, I’m including some sage graduation quotes that will stand the test of time. Graduates…check out these words of wisdom now that you’ve finished celebrating!!
